Welcome All Saints and St. Vincent Ferrer Families! Registration is now OPEN for the 2026-2027 school year!
Registration will be open through June 30, 2026, or until the program is full. Register soon! Our program fills quickly. We are limited to one class per grade each Sunday and we cannot exceed classroom limits. Once spots are full, they are full. Register now!
FLOCK creates a sense of synergy through inclusivity and integration into parish life and is a focus of evangelization as we move into the coming years. We offer programming for families and students to interact with each other and to experience Catholic traditions on a consistent basis throughout the year. Please take the time to read about the schedule and what to expect in the 2026-2027 school year.
Schedule:
FLOCK classes will be held in the All Saints school building between the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Mass times at All Saints, from 10:05-10:55. Each grade level has an assigned catechist who will lead activities and instruction. Because we have a large number of students in our program, students will be assigned to attend on an "A"/"B" schedule. Schedules will be shared at a later date once registration has closed. Families with multiple children will attend on the same schedule.
Additionally, we offer multiple "C" days throughout the year where all students and families attend Mass and an event together in one of our larger meeting spaces. Families are expected to attend. Some of these will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer and others at All Saints. These are themed around liturgical events throughout the year, i.e. Advent/Christmas, Lent/Easter. Additional details about the schedule will be issued later in the summer.
Content: We offer religious education courses for students in 1st-8th grades, including sacramental preparation. We use My Catholic Faith Delivered (MCFD) as our primary religious education material, which includes many great materials to review at home. Students will receive access to the MCFD online portal to view their content and go through the material on a weekly basis, including the weeks they do not attend.
Catechists will assign work aligned with specific MCFD lessons. Completing these assignments is an essential part of the program. FLOCK classes build on the MCFD lessons; our in-class sessions supplement the online work that is completed at home.
8th grade is follow-up to Confirmation and does not use MCFD. Instead, our 8th grade course takes a topical approach, bridging Confirmation into youth ministry, faith leadership, and tools for living a faith filled life.
Volunteering:
We would not be able to do what we do without the help of generous volunteers. We welcome any parents who would like to be an active part of their child's religious education. Help is often needed in our classrooms, welcoming students as they come in each week, assisting in the classroom, and helping with community/family events. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the parish office. All volunteers must be SafeParish compliant.
Sacraments: Sacrament preparation is handled on a two-year process. Students must attend religious education the year prior to the sacramental year in order to be properly prepared for receiving a sacrament. This applies to First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. It is in the best interest of the child to have religious formation that provides a foundation prior to receiving a sacrament. Additional details about the sacraments will be discussed and provided at sacrament meetings in the fall.
Costs:
The yearly fee for each student is $130. This covers the cost of the curriculum, classroom materials, and catechist stipends. All Saints/St. Vincent Ferrer is committed to its families and wants to ensure religious education is available. Financial assistance is available should the fee incur financial hardship.
Students enrolled in sacrament years (2nd and 7th grades) will have an additional sacrament-specific registration. This is not completed at the time of FLOCK registration and carries an additional fee specifically for sacrament materials. Information regarding this registration will come later.
Registration:
Classes filled quickly! We reach our capacity even with the A and B schedules set to accommodate a large number of students. Here is the link to register for the 26-27 program: wesharegiving.org/App/Form/a17ab08d-7b56-4a33-baea-f8044146af47. Registration closes on June 30, 2026, or when the program is full.
All new students, those who were not previously enrolled in All Saints or St. Vincent Ferrer religious education, or who were baptized at All Saints/St. Vincent Ferrer must submit a copy of baptismal records to Nilfa Chacksfield at [email protected].
We are excited to get to know your family this year! We hope that we give you helpful formation, build community, and engage students and families. Should you have any questions/concerns, we are happy to speak with you and assist you in your needs.
