YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS for June 7, 2026

Today we celebrate the feast of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). Today’s Gospel (John 6:51-58) comes from the end of the Bread of Life discourse in John’s Gospel which is the account of Jesus teaching the crowds that He is “The Living Bread” from heaven.
Did you see the First Communicants a few weeks ago all dressed in the white dresses or in shirts and ties. With hands prayerfully folded, family members all smiling, and a quiver of awe in their response of “Amen” to Father saying to them “The Body of Christ”, these young ones consumed Jesus on one of the greatest and most important days of their entire life.

Do you remember your most recent Communion?
Same awe? Same Wonder? Same reverence? Same thrill?
If so, how blessed are you! If not, let’s strive to rediscover the love, the awe, the belief that Jesus comes to us fully as “The Living Bread” when we eat His Flesh and drink His Blood in Holy Eucharist. Let’s make our next Communion, and each thereafter, like it is our First Communion. Amen!

High Schoolers of the Well (HOW … it’s a cool story)
That was a wonderful school year of HOW. The high school folks who joined us throughout the year shared, grew, laughed, prayed, ate, and made us all better.
Thank you for such terrific participation!
During the year we had kids join us from: Ursuline, Wyoming, St. Ursula, Madeira, Mt. Notre Dame, Moeller, St. Xavier, Milford, Sycamore, Roger Bacon, Summit, and Indian Hill High Schools. Keep praying for each other! Watch here for our summer gatherings.
