YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS for February 1, 2026

Today’s Gospel (Matthew 5:1-12) is of Jesus teaching The Beatitudes to us and to those gathered on Mount Sinai.
I’ve heard a simple description that has helped me: The Ten Commandments and the Two Great Commandments are the WHAT To Do and WHAT Not To Do. The Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy are the HOW To Do. The Beatitudes are the WHY Do It. We believe what Jesus told us. Our rewards will be great: heaven, comfort, mercy, see God, children of God, Blessed!
Today, in Saint Vincent Ferrer Church, over 100 young Catholic parishioners will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is one of the greatest days of their life! The Holy Spirit will heap upon them the Gifts of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Courage, Right Judgement, Piety and Wonder & Awe. They will be sealed on their foreheads with sacred chrism oil. Their families will celebrate them. The Church celebrates them. So do we. Please pray for those receiving their Confirmation.

Junior High Youth Group
We had a grand time at the last gathering of Junior High folks. Watch here for the date of our next gathering.
All 7th & 8th grade Saint Paul the Apostle Family of Parishes parishioners from ALL SCHOOLS are warmly invited, as are all 7th & 8th grade students at All Saints and Saint Vincent Ferrer. Food, fun, fellowship, prayer & you!
High Schoolers of the Well (HOW … it’s a cool story)
The High School Group, HOW, will gather on Monday February 9 from 7:00 – 8:30pm in the All Saints Youth Room.
All High School parishioners from ALL HIGH SCHOOLS are very welcome! Bring your friends too!

All Life is Sacred
Last Sunday we held our annual Celebrate Life Event at All Saints. The activities were Spirit filled even though the cold weather was uncooperative.
Thank you to the Saint Paul the Apostle Witness for Life group and thank you to the Missionary Families for Christ group for leading beautifully prayerful Rosaries in Church, and for all your ongoing support for the sanctity of life.
While the annual event is over, our prayers and voices to support all life continue. Please stand tall with your support for all life. Choose life. Choose Jesus. Choose love.Questions about Youth Group?
